October favourites :)

31 October 2013

So here we go, with my beauty/ slash other products.. its the beginning of a new month meaning the end of another, which means a lot of products that has been used..

Before we go in details about my October favourites I wanted to just say i have been loving drinking tea in this cold month...nothing like a nice hot cuppa.. haha

Okai and now with these lip products...

elizabeth arden 8 hour lip repair/ lush bubblegum lip scrub
these two products are wonders, and its been really helpful, as my dry skin tends to get more drier during these cold months, so its very important to moisturize. this lush lip scrub is absolutely brilliant, I purchased this after my wonderful friend (Fatma) raved about it..couldn't help but buy it.. I can see why, it really smooths your lippyy..
i have also been moisturizing my face with Liz Earle moisturizer, but I would like to try a new moisturizer.. any suggestions?

mac breath of plum blush, rimmel kate moss 107, sleek contour kit medium
now during the fall I love to wear plum shades, so been loving my mac blush. I also rediscovered my sleek contour, I say rediscovered because I have actually been using my benefit hoola, so I'm really happy to be using this again! I havn't used the highlight as much because during autumn I tend not to highlight my face.

well as you guys can spot my kate Moss 107 have been used alot, I love the pigmentation of this, I know I know been raving a lot about this, but hey its great stuff!

Sigma F80 Kabuki brush, Real Techniques setting brush
I wanted to add these two brushes in my favourites, although I have been loving and using other brushes, these two were like my must use haha.. the sigma brush I haven't used in such a long time, so when I started using this brush I got a lil excited... yes I did, due to the fact this makes the face flawless, and easily spreads the foundation!

I have also been using the setting brush (pink one) a lot to apply concealer, I have always reached out, and think this is really good, it retails at about 10 pounds. well done Samantha Chapman for creating great brushes!

Ihave been using this perfume so much this month, the j'adore by dior perfume, must say is one of my ultimate favs, I love the smell, as if you know me, i'm not a very sweet smell kind of girl..

Also candles! candles are just so pretty, and they smell so nice, and adds this peaceful mood.
I have been lighting alarof candles.. mines are all from primarni ;) they are totally inexpensive and majority are under £2.50! now that is BARGAIN!

This cupcake looking one below, is so cute, and not mention the smell is so strawberriyish, I can't stop smelling this...
A more random product or products i've been loving a lot during the fall is wearing thumb and midi rings..

So what was your favourite thing during this month?

Bobbi Brown Corrector

30 October 2013

OMG firstly I have to say this is one of my favourite peace of makeup I love concealers, I find sometimes you can go out without foundation..

all though this particular concealer or better known as corrector isn't exactly cheap I feel its money worth spent! I still haven't found a dupe, although i've found concealers that I do love alongside this such as the collection 2000 perfection concealer, I think this I will always repurchase.

Now moving on to the product itself, what it is used for? it is applied under the eye to get rid of the darkest circles there is! it has a peachy salmony colour, which comes in a range of shades. its really creamy in texture and pigmented so you only need the littlest amount, and when I say little I literally mean little! a dab on your ring finger will do it...

It lasts all day, and doesn't tend to crease unless you use a lot, but you can always apply powder on top. I usually use my mac mineralise skin finish powder.

It costs around  £18.00 in the UK, and can be brought from Bobbi Brown counters.

I've had mine for nearly 6months and I still have a lot of product, I use mine most days..
mine is in the shade peach, comes in either bisque or peach undertone with different shades ranging from dark to light, peach is suited for mac NC skins (yellow undertone) and bisque for mac NW (pink undertone)

Comment below if you have this product, if you like it or dislike it and why... or about any other concealers..

budget (peachy) Nude Lipsticks for asian skintone

29 October 2013

Beauty on a budget?...
Hunting for the perfect nude lipstick can be tough task we face if your like me and your an Asian skin tone.. your typical average nude lipsticks can look a bit ashy. well have no worries, I have a couple of lipsticks that can be made to be your lips but better.. and don't worry they're all high street/ drugstore which is something we (if your like me) don't co
me across all that often!

Just before I begin this post, I am an NC40.

Firstly Revlon matte lipstick in the shade mauve it over..  £7.49 I feel this is my only matte formula lipstick that I like, it isn't too drying as i find some lipsticks.. there are also lighter shades in this line..

Another pretty nude is Rimmel's birthday suit shade 250.. this is a very flattering nude on the peachy side with little shimmers in the lipstick, however on the lips it has a sheen but not shimmery.

A little darker nude NO7 stay perfect lipstick £9.50, this may be surprising for some people however for darker skin tones this may look very pretty and this formula is sooooo creammy so thumbs up!

A nude colour in the form of pencil by KIKO shade 30, I love the colour of this, it can be worn on its own or under lipstick... negative side is you would need to reapply every so often however i'm in love with the colour so it had to make my list!

and again from rimmel notting hill nude £6.49, heard so many people rave about this? wondered why... well maybe because this iss soo prettyy.. at first I thought this may be too light for me but it is perfect.. rimmel have reformulated their moisture renew lipsticks, changed the packaging and added a few more shades. I feel this nude can suit any skin tone, light or dark... very nice.. =)

Mac eyeshadow quad palette

Mac Eyeshadow quad palette, chose the colours myself  =)

I don't own a lot of mac eye shadows, I mean the price tag puts me off big time! but the owns I do have I chose them very carefully so I can use them multi purpose :) nothing more that we beauty freaks love then to use a product for more than one thing! especially when it doesn't come cheap ey!?

I use the darkest colour in the palette expresso for the crease as well as the brow. (some multi purpose for you there) I can also use this as lining my eyes instead of eyeliner.

For parties I love honey lust all over the lid, its a really pretty shimmery colour. the other two are brilliant colours for neutrals.

Inside: Honey lust, woodwinked, bronze, expresso.

I can use these colours on special occasions or everyday.
I feel mac rice paper is a really pretty colour to be used for the inner socket of the eye and as a highlight under the brow. (I forgot to take a picture of it so I copied one from google...how naughty!)

Mac eye shadows are very pigmented, and can be purchased as a quad palette for £40 where as they cost at around £12 each. this can be used for neutral or beginners... can you tell i'm a neutrals kinda girl!

comment below what you guys think ?
i can write blog post on the sleek palettes as I own a lot (nearly all) naughty me hah x
