#WIMB 1 -Winter edition

29 December 2013

So if your like me and you love watching videos on you tube things like what's in my handbag, I thought I would do a blog post as I don't make videos, and do a winter edition :)

so here's all the items in my bag, and the bag itself, yess its real =D

a special birthday present from a special someone, the Louis Vuitton never fall in size pm the smallest size in damier print...

I love the red inside and I love wearing this bag all year around.. but recently I have found myself reaching out to it, its small, light and easy to carry.

Starting off with the small zipped pocket I have my Iphone 5 obviously I just took a pic of the cover haha and if you live in London you will know and have an oyster card, its just a travel card, mines blue as I have the student oyster FYI... I also have my purse, which I am not showing the contents for obvious reasons, but if you wanted know I had spare change, store shopping cards, debit cards..

As you can see I also have my leather gloves due the cold weather, a small body spray, a perfume which is cheap and small that smells nice in case it breaks.. a hand cream, a particular favourite is ted baker, my keys, chewing gum and an umbrella...  I like to carry tissue for runny noses as its often very chilly, or most likely to wipe my hand from lipsticks I have tried out in the shop :) i have just run out of my packet so couldn't take a picture but obviously you all know what tissue looks like.. Hopefully lol

Lastly I also carry a small makeup bag, this was an early present from my husband, its a the Ted Baker makeup bag which I lurrvv in this goldy colour. although its small I must say it fits in a lot of products.

Inside my makeup bag :)
a nude pink lipstick from Mac called faux, a red lipstick from Revlon cherry blossom, Mac pink blusher in shade breath of plum, real techniques buffing brush which I use for blusher , collection 2000 concealer in shade 4, Bobbi Brown corrector peach (review), revlon colourstay eyeliner, favourite mascara atm Maybelline falsies,  Dior lip balm and a small gold Gucci mirror!

These are all the things I like to carry in my handbag during the winter, to either protect me from the cold weather or things that I use, I don't carry eye shadows or palettes, I like carrying less makeup and things I use for touch ups, like blush and lipsticks, and concealer..

Boxing Day Sale

26 December 2013

That's right people, its the 26th December meaning the big boxing day sale that we all look forward to.

As like every other year I some how end up finding myself in the mist of busy shoppers barging through crowds looking for items on offers...

This year I went lakeside as I thought Westfield may be too packed out..
No trains were working so I went with two buses but it was ok as I went with my friends so we had a laugh on the way.

Although I found a few items looking at the queues I ended up putting a lot of items back and walking out of the shop.

What I did come home with that day is a present for my bestfriend :) ..
I brought pj top and bottoms from Disney store and I cant believe that was all... but I shall go again tomorrow with my friend..

But to be honest, boxing day sale to me is more or less another normal day of shopping, the queues are ridiculous, you never find your size, you look forward to it for no reasons, less transport and just an overcrowded situation! my advise will be you didn't miss anything just go the next days as the sale starts from December 26th and ends on new years eve..

So I thought I would carry on my blog today is the 27th and I went back with my family to come back home with a lot of bags this time!

Soo the things I brought:

Minnie mouse pyjama top and bottom, top cost 6.99 originally cost 14.00, and the bottoms were also 14.00 cost 6.99

I really liked these heels in navy velvet material, reduced from 30 pounds to 14pounds, next I went into Lipsy and the only item I spots with the last and only size being size 6 was right up my street. This denim jacket cost 40.00 originally and was on half price offer!

and I also brought a few undergarments from primark...

The non sale items from lush and boots..

I really wanted some more bath bombs as I think they make bath time way more enjoyable!  I brought the space girl for 2.25 and dragons egg ballistic for 3.25 And also I really needed some more cotton pads and these were quite big and double sided cost 1.89, buy one second half price lastly this attracted my attention don't know why.. This cream puff lip gloss from collection in the shade angel cost 2.99. Also I brought a small body spray but my friend brought 2for 3pound as one was 2.10 and gave me one!

top picks For a winter party

25 December 2013

Some beautiful items that stand out to me during winter, especially to wear in a party,
with nails I love red nails, this nail polish is quite cheap but very nice, its the barryM jelly nail paint..

Next would be lips and I have to say I love Mac's russian reds as a very classic favourite red that

Compliments many skin tones. Lastly smelling nice, although everyone has different taste in perfume i love one that last long and that would go to Chanel  coco mademoiselle, although quite expensive I would wear to a party and it lasts very long !

Lastly no party is complete without them sexay heels !

I love to wear gold glittery heels in these outings or parties during winter as it compliments red very nicely.. Mines are from newlook :) although at the end of the day I change into flats haha

DIY hot chocolate

24 December 2013

Mmm winter time should definitely remind you of one thing and that's hot chocolate! Well why would you buy the powder when you can make it yourself and it would taste even better, and what better time then to cosy up to a nice warm hot chocolate in the freezing winter time and it takes only 5minutes of your time!

So what will you need :

A bar of white chocolate
A bar of dark chocolate
A bar of milky chocolate
(to be honest whatever chocolate you like)

Semi skimmed milk or whole
Whipped cream
Marshmallows for extra touch

So firstly you want to put a small saucepan on medium heat

Pour in the milk the amount your going to have

While the milk is heating stir it around
So next the chocolate, you only need a little bit, for 1 big cup of hot chocolate I added first 3 small squares of milky chocolate, 3 squares of white chocolate and 1 and half square dark chocolate

Make sure you stir the milk so the chocolate melts and mixes in this should take 2mins or so and should like this

When your happy with the mixture pour it into a cup

You can drink it as it is but if you want to go the extra mile like me squirt in some whipped cream and finish with some marshmallows.

I don't actually like eating the marshmallows so I put two in and let it melts into my drink...

Make your own and let me know in the comments how your one has turned out :)
Mmmmmmmm

my hair care

21 December 2013

I find it difficult to pin point my favourite hair care, because i'm always changing my shampoo and conditioner. I find as my hair gets used to one type of shampoo, it stops working

Although I will be changing it up from time to time but I know this will remain a staple for me.

I love how moisturised and smooth my hair feels, and there's like 500ml in there I think I brought 2 for 5 pound which is a very good offer.

There's lots of different types for frizzy hair, dry hair e.t.c I have been using the silky smooth edition by Tresemme.

After washing my hair I like to use the Avon dry ends serum on my hair and then blow dry my hair..

So when it dries my hair is very soft, silly and smooth and goes straight!
