it is very important for you to cleanse your brushes on a weekly basis.. and give it a good monthly pamper rinse ;)
1) the first step is to get some of your cleanser or shampoo, I often use a normal shampoo. put some in the bathroom sink on the side, and dab the brush head in it and then swirl the brush in the palm of your hand. For this instance i used the tony and guy hair shampoo for normal hair
this will ensure the brush is getting cleansed
2) next step is to turn on the warm tap as you don't want it too hot or cold. turn the brush downside so your holding the stick, and try and not to get any water inside as this can losen the glue.
it may help to swirl the brush on the sink next to the water. Use luke warm water..
3) repeat step 1 but with conditioner this time, this will make your brush nice and soft again :) and also again wash it under the tap, step 2 basically.. I used the tony and guy conditioner for normal hair.
4) now the drying part, I tend to shake the brushes so it rinses off the water, then place a carrier bag on top of my draw, and put a box so there is different level of surface, and place the brush handles on the box so the brush is facing down.
I do the brush cleansing in the night so I can use my brushes next morning :) I recommend this either weekly or monthly as a good cleansing routine...
the quick way to clean your brush is to get a cotton pad, and some eye cleanser, and rub the brush on the cotton pad in swirl motions... This will be ideal for daily or weekly depending on how dirty your brushes are...
