Morning skincare routine

19 December 2013

Finally as a long awaited blog, I am writing about my skincare routine for the morning as I now finally happy with it..

I wake up in the morning, and take with my from my basket of skincare products my Foreo Luna mini in pink and my good things start fresh cleanser to the bathroom. I brush my teeth, then wash my face with warm water. I then put my cleanser on my face, massaging it all over my face. I brought my cleanser from boots from the good things collection, it costs around 5pounds and is a cream cleanser. mine smell of grapes and fruity as it has fruity natural ingredients. I then use my foreo luna mini cost 100 pounds to massage it on top of the cleanser, ill write a blog on how that works and all about it if you want comment below..

I rinse my face with warm water after that I towel dry my face patting it gently..

next thing I do is get a cotton pad and put some of my Clarins cleansing toner and wipe my face with it, some toners can dry out your face  as they contain a lot of alcohol, and it isn't good to use harsh exfoliators on your face as this can cause breakouts and ruin your skin. this cost I think 25 pound, i'm really bad with remembering prices sorry if its wrong, but you can find this in all stores that have Clarins counter, boots, John Lewis, Debenhams, House of Frazer.. this is perfect as it exfoliates and tones.. I originally wanted to get the Pixi glow tonic which is annoyingly always out of stock and cost 16pounds :(

I like using a serum, most days I use the hydraluron, but I do change it to the pepta bright depending on the day and weather.. he hydraluron moisture booster is excellent for restoring moisture back into the skin.. the pepta bright brightens the face..

next on top goes my moisturiser which I have been loving the origins ginzing, smells of faint oranges and brightens and wakes my face while making it feel smooth and soft..

Lastly eye cream, I use the eyesliix again from indeed labs, it helps with puffiness and dark circles..
ive don't a mini review on the indeed lab products on all three of them which you can read before this blog..

what I forgot to include is lip balm, very essential, especially when you have lips that are chapped and need to be soften. I have been loving my Dior crème de rose lip balm! it smells so nice, and its about the only thing that has worked for me, and I have been using this for over a month now.. cost 20pound, but worth it as I have wasted way more money on cheaper lip balms that don't do anything but peels off!!

do you use anything that I have listed above, or use differently.. comment below :) love to know..

Indeed lab products review

16 December 2013

I wanted to use these products before I done a review on them, and I can safely say my skin has improved.. OMG! thanks to all these youtubers and Carolina Hirrons, I have been happy that I have brought and tried these for myself.

firstly I brought the Hydraluron moisture booster, as I have very dry skin which is often dehydrated. this is a clear serum which I apply before your moisturiser and what it does is takes all the moisture from you cream and takes it into your skin. so you only need a little of you moisturiser.. my skin has improved and looks way better.. it costs around 25 pound from boots, and at the moment there's actually an offer I think 25% off so hurry and gets yours ;P I sadly got it on the full price but guess it was worth it..

secondly I the eye cream, I have been looing for a good eye cream for a long time, too long for my liking, I didn't want to spend loads and I didn't want something crap. to be honest I wanted one that does all, and can be used day and night, well great job I found this! I brought it on the offer and I love using it, I noticed my eye appearance looking better. the Eysliix targets dark circles, puffiness and all that. this is white colour cream which feels light in weight and just need to apply a little..

lastly I didn't really have the intention of actually buying the Pepta-bright, but I wanted to try it though and when I saw the boots discounted offer I thought why not, this helps reduce redness while brightening the face. White cream, i apply this instead of the hydraluron on some days.

I personally love these products and think I will definitely repurchase these, I may just stock up on the discounted price =D

Foundations: favourite four

14 December 2013

As promised my favourite foundations.. I thought id do my two favourite of each - high end and budget.

I have chosen different brands of very different foundations each however all my chosen foundation have a very natural dewy finish with light to medium coverage as I hate thick foundations! These are suited for my dry skin..

First ill do the high end..
As you can see I have chosen one from mac.. I'm an NC 40 in mac foundations, as I have cool undertone (yellow) most of mac's foundation are designed for more oily skin. The only ones that are suited to dry skin would probably be the mac studio sculpt which is a gel based, for combination skin with medium to thick coverage and the one I have mac mineralise foundation. I love the way it looks on my skin and feels lasts all day, however a bad thing which is personal is I cannot wear mac foundations, as much as I love them there is something present in the ingredients that breaks me out!! I can use everything else though blushers concealers etc.. But I thought id still include this in because I do love it :(

My other top high end foundation that I would thumbs up is my make up forever HD foundation in the shade 128, this has a beige undertone so I need to get one in the exact same shade but yellow or olive undertone probably 123. They're shade numbers are bit tricky to understand at first.. I just read loads of blogs and swatches before ordering mine! You can order from PAM, makeup emporium website, cost around 30pounds, this is practical particularly feels so light and is HD so good for pictures and wedding say :)

Moving on to my drugstore/budget foundations :
Lets start with no7 from boots, I got colour matched with their new cool devices that tells you what colour you are, just pop into boots and ask.. For my dry skin I was suggested the stay perfect range, as the are many many different types. Cost around 15pounds I think which I got discount on top of that as well!
My shade is warm sand. This does last a very long time..

Lastly my rimmel match perfection in shade 303 true nude. I have been wearing the rimmel nearly every time I wear makeup, as it feels so nice on, its hydrating as i have said many times. So for the winter its perfect. Cost around 7pounds I think.

I apply with real techniques expert face brush the most:

Summary:
- Out of all of them the mufe hd foundation is the lightest in weight givea nice coverage, very camra friendly, loads of shades and undertones to choose from but the most pricey and only online..

- mac mineralised is a cream based gives more thicker coverage then all the others but still very natural, cost around 25, loads of shades and stores and online, gives me spots :(

- no7 last such a long time and feels like a more expensive foundation, medium coverage a semi matte finish, price is reasonable, lots of shades, only boots

- rimmel is the most dewiest, has good lasting power, would recommend powder after, the cheapest at only 7pound and can be found on 3for2 offers, sold anywhere, hydrating, little range of shades to choose from

Lush Haul

07 December 2013

Hey everyone, I know its been so long since i've posted a blog.. But i've just been so busy with work and uni and also due to some personal family matters...

Putting all that aside i've finally come back with a haul none other then from lush !!!

Yayy!! Soo here's what its inside:

I already tried one of their frozen dace masks I don't remember which one but it was for dry skin. The lady suggested this one rudolf.. For dry skin for spots or anything.
It cost 4pound something which is not bad..
You put them un the freezer and use them cold.. They feel so nice especially in the summer

Also I always wanted the lush bombs so I brought these ones that looked pretty. One called i think mountain its pink and white..

And the second one christmas penguin one..
Cost 2.95 each or around that price anyway..

Don't worry ill be doing a few more blogs and most probs more shopping hauls..

November Favourites :)

30 November 2013

It's already time for my November favourites... wow month goes so quickly..

You probably have spotted my rimmel foundation which I have been going on and on about :) I wear the shade 303 true nude, I have already said its so hydrating and I love wearing it during these months.. this has spf 18 which is not only handy in summer but also winter to protect your skin from humidity etc. it gives flawless skin, with a dewy finish, great for dry or normal skin. medium coverage, it does a very long time. overall its become one of my favourite, and glad this has my shade as most high street foundations only come in the lighter shades, very frustrating!

Next my beloved urban decay naked palette.. I have already done a blog post on it if you wanted to see that click here. I've recently been using it alot alot alot.. and I know there was a release of a new naked 3 palette.. the colours look really nice..

Back to my naked palette that I do have.. I love the colour buck as its a very nice blending colour, I have been using a lot of bronzy shades, smog is one of my shimmery colours that I love. recently during this season I have been using dark horse a lot, in my crease and outer corner to add definition and lower lash line...

I have also been loving using the Maybelline colour tattoos as a swish of colour on my lids, especially the colour on and on bronze.. I  have already written a blog so if you want to check that out click here

I know I said I really like my Loreal voluminous mascaras, but hey you can't love just one mascara, I found this mascara in the back of my draw, and when I tried it I thought it was brilliant, it volumises, lengthens, I love Maybelline mascaras, I use to have a lot of them.. and i've literally stopped using my Loreal one and instead used this like the whole November..
As you guys know I've been into berry colours and as I've already included the burgundy lip favourite in my last favourite I didn't want to repetitive, so I thought I would add in my favourite lip along aide, I really love this nude shade for me, its my most lived probably lipstick from mac, its mac faux, and for me its a lovely pink nude. I would defo repurchase again! Sometimes I wanted a nude lip as I went bolder wither eyes and cheeks I wanted to tone down on the lips..

You can probably spot Dior crème De Rose lip balm from my recent haul post, but I have fallen in love with this in a few days so I thought it would be unfair if I didn't include his in my November favourites :( I know I will be in love this product for a long long time... It beats the elizabeth arden 8hour cream which I said I really liked however it has unfortunately kind of not lived up to the little hype.. I will do a separate blog on that.. So the Dior lip balm cost 20pound, with 10 or 20% percent off during the offers.. It is so soft does everything it says, jus a teeny weeny gloss but that doesn't stay ling, and little hint of rosey smell, with no colour. Which is everything I love about it

This is a swatch of the mac faux lipstick on my hand...

I was so excited when I found this in boots again, I used to years a few years ago but I never found this until recently. I love this stiff well done ted baker! Its smells so nice and so soft.
